   Sad. I never the saw the film. He lived a long life but made only a few films. I look forward to seeing Adieu Philippine.

      Hi Amresh,

      I only saw this and some shorts, great musicality with his image and characters, liberated and fluid. I liked what I read somewhere yesterday, that he was too free a filmmaker to have a career. I think MK2 is putting out restorations of all his work in near future.

      I am in the process of setting up screenings for my film, first screening will be in Guangzhou this month, and then we’ll see. Hope all is well with you too!

   Can’t recommend his three post-Philippine feature lenght movies enough (esp. Maine Océan). Movies that keep going forward into unexpected territory ; quite similar in structure, in a way, to what Cassavetes did with Husbands.
